Precepts on auspicious(Mangalasutra)
1.Namo arahantaanam-Obeisance to the Worthy souls.
2.Namo siddhaanam- Obeisance to the Liberated souls.
3.Namo ayariyaanam- Obeisance to the Preceptors(Spiritual guides).
4.Namo uvajjhayaanam-Obeisance to the spiritual teachers.
5.Namo loe savva saahunam-Obeisance to all the Saints in the world.
Eso panchanamokkaro, savva paavappanaasano !
mangalaanam cha savvesim,padhamam havai mangalam !!
This five -fold obeisance is destructive of all sins and is foremost amongst all auspicious.
